Well unfortunatley we didn't get pics of this trial, but star did great!!! Star finished with a 2nd place in a field, and a 2nd place in b field!! She did a great job she has a superior nose and great field sense, and beautiful style.
Doc did a great job also he finished 4th and 5th. He should of had a 3rd but we couldn't get a retrieve. Doc amazed the judges at this trial he pointed two of his three birds at over 60 yard's. Let me tell you this makes it very hard to find the bird's!! The reason we didn't get that third retrieve was the bird he pointed was on the other side of a gulley, over in the next canyon where he couldn't see it and i was just about to give up and i decided to walk over the hill and i could see the bird sitting way at the bottom! I tried to run the bird back to where doc would be able to see it get flushed and shot but it flushed to soon and he couldn't even see me or the bird and couldn't find the downed bird. What a rush!!

Congratulations star!!! March 7,8 2009
Well this date was the regional finals for arizona, and i decided to enter star in arizonas region because of her heat cycle hits right on utah's regional. Star had 2nd brace of the day and had 4/4 and a back! She finished in 1st place with the highest score for the day! So it was on to the regional finals, She ran like a maniac and finished in 6th place for the finals. I am so happy for star she has a great future she isn't even 2 yet!!! There were over 30 dogs qualified in the regionals, go star!!
Star does it again
Star has been in arizona guiding all winter. So i have been having matt run her in trials as often as possible. She finished 2nd on feburary 14th. Way to go star!!
